Logan Cole Workshop : Engagement | Sara + Steve

A few months ago I had the pleasure of helping Logan Cole with his first workshop. He will be leaving on a missions trip to Africa this week and his workshop helped him raise the money he needed.

Sara and Steve were the engaged models and they are actually really engaged

Crystal Cove Engagement | Aileen + Keenin

They both sat on the bleachers in their high school gym. The same row and right next to each other. He did most of the talking as she watched (or tried to) the basketball game. It wasn’t their first date, it was just a day where he finally had the chance to talk to her. He knew he was in the friend zone, but he was ok with that. Keenin wanted to be her friend.

Aileen didn’t realize that the boy sitting next to her, the one that did most of the talking, would soon win her heart, and be the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. With time, that’s exactly what happened. Aileen fell in love… with her best friend.

It’s been four years since they sat on those bleachers. Four years of being best friends. Four years of Keenin watching Aileen grow into a gorgeous, christian woman. Four years of Aileen seeing how much Keenin cared for her and her family.

These two people mean the world to me. I’ve known them both separately and now together and there’s no doubt in my mind that they truly belong together. I’m honored to be photographing their wedding in Murietta this September and even more honored to be a part of their lives.

Congratulations to you both! I adore you two and I’m so excited to see you start your lives together!

Aileen and Keenin will be moving to Alaska soon so they wanted their engagement session to be a reminder of what California feels like… and what does California feel like? Sunny, warm, and yes! the beach! We spent the afternoon at Crystal Cove enjoying the sand, the sound of the waves, and unfortunately, the sunless sky

San Diego Engagement | Amanda + Mike

They met at work. They both sported the red Circuit City shirts and khaki pants. How can anyone look cute in that uniform? Amanda! Amanda looked gorgeous and Mike took notice. He would steal glances between customers. He would even make a point to leave his area to walk by Amanda at hers. He did this for a long time until he finally got the nerve to ask her out. Unfortunately, Amanda wasn’t available.

Even though she wasn’t available to date, Amanda and Mike became fast friends. He no longer had to steal glances and leave his area, she came to him. As time went by, Amanda knew that Mike was the one for her. She relinquished her single status and became Mike’s girlfriend, best friend, and now fiance.

Amanda and Mike are getting married this fall at Los Willows in Fallbrook and I’m so excited to be a part of their day and lives. We hung out in the brushes and back streets of San Diego for their engagement session.

Thank you both so much, you are so much fun and I’m honored to be your wedding photographer!

Fullerton Engagement | Dani + Mike

He walked in the door with two other Mikes. Dani was introduced to each Mike as they came into the party, Dani, this is Mike, Mike, and Mike. She politely said hi to each Mike and then went about her way. She was mingling, smiling, and having a good time, but there was something about that one Mike that really got her attention. In a sea of Mikes, this one really stood out.

And stood out he did. Mike got more than Dani’s attention, he captured her heart. Dani and Mike are getting married this Saturday at The Muckenthaler Mansion.

Dani and Mike! I am forever grateful to you two. You both are so fun and I completely adore you. I loved hanging out with you and I can’t wait for Saturday!

And a huge thank you to Chad! You are an amazing videographer and even better person! Much love!
